Five days before the first tour of French elections. On the streets it's mostly the youth rushing to put up the last political posters for Sarko and Sego. Down by vieille ville a man who seems my age in a courdoroy blazer (in this heat?) hands me a flimsy pamphlet on Bayrou and asks me if I have any questions. Not really, I say, good luck!
