fanfiction: The Anniversary

This odd little one shot  wouldn't leave my brain until I wrote it down. Warning: It's not spuffy, although Buffy plays a part. I'd love your honest opinions- this  is the first thing I've ever written from an outsider's POV and I'm thinking of an expanded story (which is Spuffy) if this one works.  Thanks to Read more... )

You know I love Spuffy ... but I did like that. Some of the characters just get over-looked ... Willy being one of them.

I loved learning how he settled in - Thank you.

Thanks Deb. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure if it was just too odd to write.

Very nice.
Willy comes across well - a cheesy, little bar owner with a strange clientele and a positive outlook.
I like his view of Buffy as powerful but like-able and giggled at his remark about not giving Spike more liquor until he was winning.

5th Anniversary! Let's celebrate and hear more!

Thanks for the comments- that's exactly what I was wondering- if Willy was just too odd to use as the narrator.

Glad you liked it. :-)

A Willy POV tale, excellent! And much overlooked.

Thanks Petzi. I like the little weasel myself and he is very overlooked. I thought his would be a good POV and I'm glad you agree.

Thank you Adriana. I'm glad you didn't think me insane for using Willy the Weasel's POV. :-)

Oh - I do, indeed, like this. I think a series of short stories, or a longer one, from Willy's point of view would be fascinating.

Thanks, CW. I thought it would be something a little fresher and different- Willy the bartender as narrator. I'm thinking a series of short stories.
