CHARACTER INFORMATIONSERIES: Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
NAME: Euphemia li Britannia, prefers Euphie.
RACE: Human (though she did die)
AGE: 16
CANON POINT: After her death, the episode before the last of season one.
REFERENCES: http://codegeass.wikia.com/wiki/Euphemia_li_Britannia
GENDER: Female.
APPEARANCE: Euphemia has very long bright pink hair and a sort of lilac colored eyes. She's pale and delicate, though not particularly short, and despite this, holds herself very confidently. She has good posture and usually a very calm sort of presence. She usually prefers to wear dresses, particularly simple ones if possible. She also has scarring on her torso from the shot that killed her and the surgery attempt to save her life.

PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS:
Euphie is basically a person of the highest intentions. She wants the best for everyone and she believes everyone deserves a second chance. However, Euphie was also a Princess of Britannia, only renouncing her title a short while before her death, and so despite her own views, she does need to act the part. There is the kind, normal, plain old Euphie, and then there is the person she has to be to be Euphemia li Britannia. Though she'll easily switch between these two masks, depending on the situation she's in.

Euphie is a girl who wishes nothing more for peace. In Britannia it's encouraged that the Numbers, the conquered people, be oppressed and not given as many rights as Britannians. Euphie believes this is wrong and despite being royalty herself has always seen everyone as just people before their nationality or title. She will make friends with anyone and judge them on their personality. Not that she's blind to the differences and strives to always understand these differences. This is how she meets Suzaku, wanting to see Area 11 through his eyes, after ensuring he was given a fair trial. Suzaku would ultimately be a huge influence on her, having the same ideals as her in wanting to make peace in the world again, but instead of just war and rebellion, he wanted to change it from the inside.

This inspires her so that the end of the series, Euphie holds a lot more confidence in herself and in her beliefs. As such, at present Euphie will hear nothing of people being repressed solely because of their birth or status in the world. More than that, she would work as hard as she could to try and insure fair treatment to those being discriminated against. Though it should be said that, even if she will try to do this, she will try to do it the most peaceful way possible and is willing to take the longer route if she believes discrimination can be ended without bloodshed. Such is the way of the SAZ, more in the hope that it would be a shining example to establish more areas where the Numbers could have their national name back and be offered the same rights as the Britannians.

However, while she will no longer yield when it concerns discrimination, the parts of her personality that had allowed her to do so are still there. Being the pacifistic sister that remained amongst the pro war family, Euphie had gone a long time with people telling her she couldn't do things, even the siblings she was closest to. Euphie would work her hardest to try and subtly change things to no avail because she didn't want to start a confrontation with her family. While this desire has less influence, if Euphie were to find her efforts to do good aren't making any headway, she is likely to become melancholic and even start hating herself a bit. Euphie bases a lot of her self worth on her ability to be able to do something, ANYTHING for others and this tendency has only increased through her life. When she finally decides something, however, she will not bend easily, but it takes a while before she can decide on something with that level of conviction.

Of course, as a princess, there are a lot of times where she needs to just hide all her desires for peace and equality in a nation that is all about inequality. This is the more Euphemia li Britannia mask. This is the facade Euphie uses when she needs to go to official functions or go through ceremonies or just when she's giving orders. Despite how happy and carefree Euphie can be, she can put on this mask pretty fast. She's very serious and calm, looking just a bit haughty.

Her voice is commanding and she will be firm and direct. She does actually have a commanding presence and it's like this that she can run out into a field of dueling mechas and shout at them without flinching and know they will listen to her. She almost seems like a completely different person, but this is the mask that also allows her to endure things like battles and injustice before her eyes. Euphie has been kept far away from combat for the most part, so she's not used to the high death toll that can happen, but she is able to box away her emotions and put them away for a good long time. Not forever, because Euphie cares too much and will crack eventually, but for a time, Euphie is able to act every bit the calm, haughty, and in control princess of the Britannia Empire.

For the most part, though, Euphie is usually a lot more relaxed and cheerful. Perhaps with the occasional crossover with the more princess like mask when she has to be polite and formal, yet not be in charge, but mostly, she relaxes and let's herself be chipper. In her determination to help people, she always assumes the best of them and the best of the situation. Not that she isn't aware of the possible bad things, she simply chooses to believe the best will happen if she strives for it enough. Not that she's always working. When things are going well, Euphie is more than happy to just relax and enjoy the good things at the time. Euphie has no desire for power, so without an actual goal to pursue, she's fine in just standing back and enjoying the simpler things in life. Or as simple as she can get as a princess. She never misses an opportunity to act like a normal girl.

Despite enjoying the simple thing, Euphie is rather intelligent. She's not some of her siblings and a super genius, but she was a governmental official at sixteen and did understand how to do her job, but where her intelligence shines is when she acts impulsively. For small things, it's not apparent. Like going to meow at a cat in a park, that's just fun and part of the simple pleasures, but rather the big decisions where she actually exercises her power. Such as when she made Suzaku, a Number, her knight because of their similar goals, giving Suzaku the chance to gain real power in the armed forces. Or when she kept Lelouch's secret, or decided on the SAZ, or renounced her title. It wasn't there was no thought. Euphie simply didn't overthink it, didn't question what she wanted to do, and in a point where her inability to help wasn't making her doubt herself, she decided what to do and she did it. Had there not been bad timing on Lelouch's part, things could have ended far better than they did, for all parties involved. And she can plan out things. Such as organizing her 'random encounter' with Suzaku, since she wanted to meet him.

Euphie is also incredibly loyal. If there's one thing that can make Euphie act selfishly, it's the people she loves. She had entertained the ideas of being Empress in the hopes to make equality for all, but this idea was thrown away when she realized that would not help Lelouch or Nunnally. She went from wanting to make the world happy to instead only a comparatively small area, all so she could allow a small and peaceful world for her previously lost siblings along with Suzaku.

Euphie also won't cling to things that hold no value to her even if others see them as valuable. She easily gave up her right to the throne because it wouldn't do what she wanted and she could still have what she wanted, namely the ability to see and be with those she cares about. Even if she realizes her actions may further someone else's goals, if she doesn't completely disagree with those goals and still gets what she desires, she's fine with letting that happen. More over, this trait allows her to be incredibly forgiving, able to forgive Lelouch of her brother Clovis' death because revenge holds no value to her.

Euphie will always choose to treat people with kindness and equality. She will never be supportive of violence. She is a kind and giving girl and while she can suppress this when the situation calls for it, she will always return to being her true self as soon as she is able.

For houses, I believe Hufflepuff would be most suited for Euphie. She believes in being fairness and tolerating others to understand them. She's very hard working, even when she starts to despair it may be pointless. And she will never betray the ones she love of her own will. Really, friendly goes without saying.

As a back up, Ravenclaw. Even if she's not the genius of some of her siblings, she's still rather intelligent. More than that, Euphie loves to learn. One of her bigger regrets is she never got to finish High School properly. She loves to learn, particularly about people.

COMMUTER DETAILS: So very much on the side of good, it's not even funny. So no, no Death Eater stuff.

POSITION: Student

ABILITIES & POWERS:
Euphie has no special abilities. However, she is one of the two people in canon to have been able to resist Lelouch's Command Geass. As such she has a very strong will and gives her a natural ability towards Occlumency and resisting spells like the Imperius Curse.

Euphie will be good at healing spells and protection spells. Euphie is someone who wants to make people feel better and protect them, and will want to do so with all her heart. She was also in charge of the medical team the one time she was in a battle, which implies some sort of medical knowledge.

She will also be rather good with Care for Magical Creatures and Herbology as she has a great deal of patience and will be very careful to learn how best to approach anything and best tend to it.

When it comes to attack spells, curses, and hexes, Euphie will be rather bad as it's so very against her nature to ever wish harm on anyone, and will be hesitant to cast anything of that nature beyond the most mild of them.

When it comes to non-magical abilities, Euphie is a very capable diplomat and a decent politician. She knows how to use fire arms and has surprisingly good aim. She also knows how to pilot a Knightmare Frame, a mech of the world. Even if she ended school early, it was still a rigorous program and she was well tutored in all the usual school subjects along with things like political science and battle tactics. There would also be horse back riding and dance classes, something along the lines of ball room and some ballet.

WAND:
Core: Unicorn hair: It's laughable for Euphie to turn evil, and very loyal. Will get melancholy if she feels she's unable to help and many would call her innocent and pure.
Length: 11 inches: There is something in Euphie that inspires and motivates people, especially sad people, as she's the main driving force for people later on the season. It's hard to not be caught up in her impulsive decisions.
Flexibility: Flexible: Euphie is good at adapting to situations and when she trusts her instincts, she's actually pretty good at making quick judgement calls. She's someone who looks for what she CAN do instead of trying to obtain things she can't.
Wood: Vine: Euphie has a way of drawing people to her. She wants to make things better and has a way of surprising everyone, even those closest to her,, coming up with surprising solutions and somehow making them work.

MISC.: Euphemia was Geass'd to kill all the Japanese, a compulsion that she can only resist temporarily. To avoid her going on a killer rampage on most anime characters, this will not be active when she enters the game. Be it the fact 'power' is translated to 'magic' so it wouldn't be working the same way, the fact she died and technically the order would probably cease to exist then, or perhaps just remission for a third option if it was to be used for some plot idea, it will not be active when she first wakes up. Basically, the options are for why it's not instantly active, but could possibly play with it if parties involved wanted to do something with it, if that's okay.

She does not remember the time under Geass. She remembers 'winning' against Lelouch, and then the next thing she knows, she's dying. She doesn't remember why she was, or who shot her. Even with magic, trying to retrieve this sort of memory may be impossible, or at the very least, extremely difficult.

WRITING SAMPLESFIRST PERSON:
[Quill]
[The handwriting is neat and one might even say elegant.]
I finally got to see the Giant Squid today. I haven't been able to go by the lake side much, but I heard a lot about it. I never knew something that big could live in a lake, even if it's a big one. I think it even waved at me.

Are Giant Squids that smart?

[Then the elegant writing is somewhat ruined by a little doodle of a squid waving from the lake.]

I've also heard there are mermaids in the lake. I wonder if I'll be able to meet some of them too.

Though I do have a question for anyone whose good at jinxes. I'm afraid I haven't been doing too well with the Jelly Legs Jinx. Actually, anyone good with jinxes in general would be nice. I haven't been doing too well with them and I would be really grateful if anyone would be willing to tutor me.

THIRD PERSON:
Euphie was happy.

As strange as it was to think, Euphie found herself feeling so very happy in Hogwarts. The war was terrible, yes. The memories of her last moments back home were certainly something she dare not ponder too much. She had essentially been kidnapped, to another world no less. Yet despite all this, she was happy.

Euphie looked across the grounds from her place under a large tree by the lake. "It's so beautiful," she murmured. It was hard to believe that this place was really at war. That this place was full of people from different worlds. Everything was so peaceful right now.

She knew that appearances could be deceiving. Her own world looked peaceful even when it wasn't. Still, it was nice to pretend. It was so easy to, right now.

That was why she was happy, really. She felt so normal. Here she was, sitting under a tree by a lake. Out in the open, no guards or knights. It's fairly public, in a private school way, and anyone could just come up and say hi. There was no worry, there was no sneaking. Here, she was just another student, not a princess.

She loved the classes too. Even if she wasn't doing near as well as she would like, she studied hard. Sure, it was magic spells, but it still had text books and teachers, she could learn it if she just practiced enough. She could even possibly finish the education. Wars were hardly short things, and who knows how long a spell to cross dimensions could take .

She smiled to herself, letting herself just feel normal for once. Even if it was in a school of magic in another dimension.

Then she looked down at the book she was reading. A book of advanced protective spells. Even if she couldn't fight very well, at the very least she would be able to protect others with her should something happen.
