Countdown to Yuletide!

Wow.... my life has been so hectic, I haven't posted here since last Yuletide--epic fail.....    :^{

Well, I can't guarantee that this year will be better, but I'm excited that I did get my sign-up done!  I wasn't too awfully excited when I started, but I was by the time I was done.  I'd reviewed a couple of excerpts for the fandoms I requested/offered, and I was reminded how vibrant, exciting, and totally hotttttttt they all are.

I am totally into human interaction:  physicality, romance, sex, intense dialogue, explosive reactions, etc., in my fandoms.  The ones I've chosen encapsulate those areas brilliantly.

1. How to Get Away with Murder stars a brilliant African American actress, Viola Davis.  The show is witty, cynical, sexy, and at a (n extremely) few moments, heartrending.  We think it is going to be about a kick ass, take-no-names criminal defense lawyer, and it is, but it is also about a black woman trying to make it in the US law system, about the foibles and flaws of academia, about relationships, and commitment and passion and intensity.  I requested/offered the gay law student, Connor Walsh, who is a bright, neurotic, gorgeous man who uses his body as just one more tool in his arsenal.  I've only seen 5 episodes of this new show, and I'm already taken with his complexity.  I am also taken with his sex scenes which have been incredibly erotic for all that they do not show.
2. The Administration Series by Manna Francis has a bisexual male couple in a BDSM relationship.  The protagonist, Val Toreth is a bright, sociopathic, gorgeous man who uses his body as just one more tool....  I'm already seeing a pattern here.  I was introduced to this series by hpstrangelove one evening.  I ended up reading through the night, and showing up at her doorstep the next day for the rest of the series.  This was about 4 years ago, and I've been totally, irrevocably, insanely in love with the characters ever since.  I've actually been gifted a story by hpstrangelove one Yuletide in this fandom!
3. Another show that I've become enamored of this year has been Dominion.  Angels are the new, hot supernatural beings this year in urban fantasy, and after a few scenes of this show, I can see why.  I mean, what's not to love: a handsome, muscular, almost invincible winged creature in leather with a sword?  Oh, and he has a brother?  OMG, sign me up!  Even the scenes with the women (both het and femmeslash) are super erotic.
4. And finally, another series that hpstrangelove hooked me up with:  Lord of the White Hell by Ginn Hale.  Again, super hot men having hawt man secks.....  Oh, yummmmmm.....

Anyway, I am excited to see what I'll be assigned (and I'm always excited to read my gift)!

And maybe, in the meantime, I may actually post something here this year......
