[ me feeling :
every muscle in my body sporty ]
[ me listening to :  "Nine Times Blue" ~Nez (Demo) ]
[ lost in : cappucchino ]

Boy, am I sporty!
Met up with Chrissy in Spandau this morning (well, okay it wasn't morning anymore, but I got up at 8 and met her at 10:30) to go to her gym for a probation work-out.
I liked it very much, especially the crosstrainer, stepper and treadmill. But the stuff for muscle-training was also okay. After about 2 hours we had enough and just for fun we played on the terminals what our biological age was.
Surprise Surprise! I am 29.
Then I printed my individual Work-out-plan.
I am really enthusiastic to go there more often. The price is very good, only 16 € per month. Spandau is a bit far away though, but there is another one of those McFits in Steglitz, but would be better to have a friend to go with.
*harrumph* Greenie...? ;)

And I also started with a new low-carb / low-fat diet. Printed some recipes from the internet, which I tested, but I also want to buy me a book at Hugendubel, which is only 3 €.

Here you can have a look at my lunch from yesterday and today:

1) Hot Banana-Soup

you need:

  • 1 Onion

  • 1 Chili (if you like it very hot: dice a jalapenio-pepper)

  • 2 Tablespoons Oil (canola, olive, linseed...)

  • 100 ml orange juice

  • 2 teaspoons orange zest

  • 400 ml boiled water with 2 teaspoons vegetable broth

  • 200 ml tomatoe ketchup (better! vegetable or tomatoe juice)

  • 3 bananas

  • 3 Tablespoons coconut rasps

I also added:

  • a little bit ginger powder

  • a little bit paprika or chili powder

  • curcuma

  • some herbs

preparation:
       - peel and dice onion. heat oil in a pot, add onion and chili and roast gently
       - add orange juice, zest and the broth, then boil up
       - add ketchup (alt.: veggie juice) and simmer 5 Minutes covered.
       - peel bananas, put 2 of them into the soup and go through it with a blender untill onions and bananas are smoothy.
       - roast coconut rasps in a pan without oil. cut the 3rd banana into pieces, roll them in the coconut rasps and roast them in the pan with a little bit oil
       - fill soup into bowls, garnish with banana-coconut pieces, if you want you can garnish also with more roasted coconut rasps and/or pepper pieces

Enjoy your meal!

2) Sauerkraut-Fritters

what you need:

  • 500 g Sauerkraut

  • 1 egg

  • 1 onion

  • fatless ham

  • herbs

  • breadcrumbs

preparation:

- squeeze Sauerkraut untill there's no more water in it (the more water, the more it spouts while roasting!)
       - mix it with the egg and herbs, diced onion and ham
       - form fritters with a little bit breadcrumbs in your hands and roast them in a pan with little canola oil
       - goes best with a fresh salad (i.e. iceberg lettuce)

Enjoy your meal!

Tomorrow I'm gonna make:

3) Salat-Roll

you need:

  • iceberg lettuce (3 big leaves)

  • 3 slices cheese
  • 3 slices chicken or turkey breast
  • asparagus
put cheese, chicken or turkey breast and asparagus on the lettuce leaf, roll it!
Dressing of tasteless yoghurt, a little bit ketchup, salt, pepper, vinegar and canola oil
Let me know if you tried something and your experinces with this meals or any other you did! :)
