For once, I know exactly what my dream meant....

...and it scares me more than ever.

It was just after the end of civilization as we know it, and I was wandering in search of a new home. I trekked far and wide with all my possessions strapped to my back. In the most deserted area I saw I mountain shrouded in mist, and knew that there would be something worthwhile at the top. After a long and arduous climb, I finally reached the plateau, and saw the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen, and all the resources I would ever need. And yet, I knew it was not safe. The position was vulnerable and I could be attacked and displaced at any time.

After some searching, I come upon a a chasm which divided the plateau. On the other side of the gorge it was just as magnificent, but infinitely safer. And so I had a decision to make; do I stay here, a run the risk of attack, or do I attempt to cross the chasm, and risk falling into the abyss?

I made my decision in my dream, and I know I must make one in life. The dream may have been a warning... but ultimately, I cannot deny my nature; the decision was made long before I knew the question.
