Long Time No Write
Geez its been a while since I've written in here.
James....
Is doing great! At last weigh-in he was 10 pounds and 10 ounces. The Dr. says he is gaining weight very well and is in the top 5% for that when he takes into account he was premie. Poor little guy has his first shots on Wednesday since he came home. He has had a little fever yesterday and today from it which he has been taking childrens Advil and Motrin for. The Advil is berry flavored but a sickeningly dark blue color. The Motrin is cotton candy flavored and James does not like it hehe. He makes all kinds of faces.
Breastfeeding...
I'm still working on it. Hasn't gotten that much easier. He still doesn't like to latch good and I tried to use the hand pump one more time and hated it, didn't get much so gave up. I'll try again some other day.
Unemployment...
Came back and said no that applying online for multiple voice jobs a day does not meet their criteria. Which is bull. They want someone to attempt for a job three times a week...how my three or more times a day doesn't qualify I don't know. So basically I have to wait for six weeks to be over (which they are pretty much) and then I can collect again. I still find it rediculous they do this to pregnant women.
Online courses....
BUT on a good note I am now able to take a BUNCH of online training courses for free. College quality courses too. I'm very excited about this. I even finished a course this week for basic Photoshop. Got 100 on my test and let me tell you the tests are NOT easy hehe. Bill was getting the questions wrong and he uses Photoshop very well. I am soooo surprised at all the courses I can take, from finance, to webdesign (which is what i'm focussing on), to business, and beyond. Its crazy. All for free. Of course I have a year to take all the courses I want which is just awesome. So hopefully soon I'll be a pro webdeveloper and designer! ^_^
