So, here, in a tiny nutshell, is the biggest reason I firmly believe Barry O cannot win reelection:
Nobody who voted against him in 2008 has seen anything in this first term that would sway their votes this time.
A lot of people who voted FOR him last time are going to either drop out or actively vote against him. I have a friend - a good friend, a bridesmaid, actually - who lives in a Chicago suburb, mind you and ACTIVELY CAMPAIGNED for Obama to the point of being featured in news stories there who has implicitly suggested that she is definitely voting Romney this time and is excited about the Ryan pick.
And a lot of people who just...didn't vote - because they didn't like McCain or whatever, have seen the folly of their ways and are coming back in. I don't trust those voters, actually. They never make any sense.
And the third party folks are just wasting their votes.
