Thank you, Arizona Diamondbacks, for one of the coolest troop tributes I've seen! (A deployed 22-year veteran National Guardsman's kids, ages 5 & 6, got to throw out the first pitch. That's a great story, and kudos to the DBacks for doing it.

Whenever it's Fleet Week in NYC, there are always lots of sailors in the stands at CitiField. I hope their whole day is comped by the Mets organization. Not just their seats, but all their food and beverages (well, the latter within reason, of course; we must be responsible). I always like seeing all those white uniforms in the stands, and they televise a couple of shots of them during the game.

If it was up to me, they'd be totally comped, I guarantee it.
