And Tribe fans welcomed Jimmy (T)Home with open arms. Apparently, from the time the trade was announced until game time tonight, they sold 8000 tickets. Considering that the game was against the Royals, that's a pretty big deal. Jimmy went 0 for 4, but that didn't matter. And you could tell how happy he was to be back at that park, in that uniform. Maybe he'll retire after this season - it wouldn't be a surprise. Then he can end his career where he started it.
He'll go into the HoF as an Indian, anyway. As will Omar Vizquel. I'm sure they'll both make it. Maybe not as first-balloters, but, eventually, they'll be in the Hall, just like Bert Blyleven.
