Oh, goodie.
I just won a new (to us) Series 2 TiVo with Lifetime Service on eBay. Got it for just over $220. It doesn't do HD, but so what? Neither does our old one. But now, we can TiVo on one TV and watch on the other, plus this one has two inputs so you can actually TiVo TWO things at once. What a concept!
I love TiVo. Now that we've upgraded the hard drive on our old one (the first drive died, and, if I had known years ago how easy it was to upgrade from the old "40-hour" drive which really only gave about 21, I'd have done it much sooner), it has plenty of time, so it can be the default recorder, and the second one only needs to be called into service on an as-needed basis.
I have no reason, now, no to attempt to TiVo the entire Phineas & Ferb catalog. :-)
