(no subject)
Had an interview this morning. I thought it went well, but who knows? It's for a pet products company, as an associate brand manager. They're hiring two, so that's that more of a chance at success. They're talking to six candidates. I'll hear by mid-week whether I'm going any farther in the process. It was a good day to miss the morning, though, as the Dementor went on a major rampage. I think I'm going to install my sound recording software and bring in my microphone (it's got a pretty good range, so it can hide unobtrusively behind my computer and still pick up good audio) so that I have evidence for Ed to hear. She never behaves badly when he's around, so it's strictly hearsay what she does.
While applying for various jobs, I applied to be a political correspondent at Examiner.com, commenting about conservative issues. And I have been accepted! They want me to do 3-4 pieces a week. And, you know, since I write about that many most weeks anyway, I might as well get paid for them. It's small change to begin with, but it'll go into my cruise fund, and, if I attract readers, it'll get bigger. And I might even get noticed by a real political publication, which would be COOL!
Still have the lingering cough from the sinus infection. It's really getting annoying.
