To do before Christmas Eve dinner:
Wrap the last gift, and put the finishing touches on any that I haven't done, yet.
Get pine boughs to use for a centerpiece.
Find soup bowls that will coordinate with the china.
Make sure the tablecloth is in acceptable condition, launder the runner (which was on the table for not even an entire meal before someone spilled food on it), iron the napkins.
Make wedding soup.
My nails, which are in even more desperate shape than they were in for LAST week's "to do" list.
Clean.
Set the table.
Assist with the cooking as needed, but it's not going to be the Julie Show this year, thank goodness.
I have high hopes of a day off tomorrow, but, failing that, I expect that we'll be set free by noon.
