I started trying to post this around lunchtime yesterday:

So far today, here are the things that have happened while I've been in the car:

First, while I was stopped in a (longer than usual) line of traffic at a red light, a Jeep Wrangler plowed into the Toyota Tundra behind me (I recognized it as a Wrangler when the doors opened - I couldn't actually see it). Thankfully, it takes a lot of momentum to overcome the Tundra's inertia and it wasn't pushed into me.

Then, when I was almost at work, some stupid girl, who - based on the stack of paper she had in front of the steering wheel to read - wasn't paying attention, decided that she would be more comfortable in the space then currently being occupied by my car.

Finally, while I was coming back to the office from lunch, some idiot with a California license plate who was going WAY too fast swerved around me, nearly took off my rear bumper, then went into the shoulder to pass the car in the far right lane.

Apparently, it's "Drive Like a Pinhead Day."

stupid people, cars
