I keep hearing that part of the reason GM is in trouble is that they weren't making cars people want to buy (which is, IMHO, poppycock. They're making vehicles the government doesn't WANT people to want - that is, SUVs and trucks - but the people seem to like 'em just fine.)

Somehow, though, I just don't think that this is what the marketplace has

I'm a GM baby. My dad worked there for 43 years; my father-in-law worked there for 25, and my husband and I met when we were working there. I'm not about to transfer my loyalty to anyone.

Well, my husband doesn't have the same sense of loyalty that I have. Which is why he owns a Thunderbird.

I bought 400 shares when it was at $2.30 a share. It closed at $3.77 yesterday.
