Joe and I fed Catherine and put her to bed, watched 24 (which hit its high point about four eps ago and is now descending into absurdity), and then went out to sit in our glorious jacuzzi. God, we love this thing. We've had it up and running for about six weeks, and we're in it no less than every other night. Best luxury money we've ever spent...
until, about 15 minutes into it tonight, the jets shut off with a "THUNK!" An OMINOUS "THUNK!" Normally, the jets shut off quietly after half an hour. The control panel was dark. Joe figured it had tripped a breaker (but couldn't imagine why it would do such a thing) and got out to investigate when he noticed...
a giant pool of water collecting under it and flowing into the yard. At which time I stood up and noticed that the water level was noticeably decreasing.
The big bummer? The nearest tech is in Tucson, two hours away.
Sigh. Less that some of my other friends have to deal with right now, but still a bummer.
