Wow. I love this woman. Utterly phenomenal. I knew as soon as the news came out that John McCain had made a phenomenal decision, and the speech tonight totally confirmed it. Even a commentator on (ick) MSNBC called her something like "the Right's Barack Obama."
Which is about right...in kind of the same way that Ginger Rogers had to do everything Fred did backwards and in high heels. Barry's had a fawning media, and Sarah's had one that has attempted to do nothing less than destroy her and her family. Honestly - if they're reporting about her husband's 22-year-old DUI, why have they glossed over Barry's admitted (in one of his two autobiographies before age 47) hard drug use around the same time?
Why? They say she's not qualified to be on the ticket. Real reason - she terrifies them. Why else would they want her OFF the ticket?
Which proves all the more why she was an awesome pick.
