legs splayed and remaining splayed, hopefully for less than 12 days, my friend.

driving along bumpy roads helped me. apparently castor oil is good, although frankly i'd rather stay pregnant for an extra month than drink that. sex is supposed to be the big helper, and i'm a believer, as i am 99.9999% certain that it is what tipped me into labour with my last one. i felt the first 'odd feeling, not entirely pleasant' in my abdomen while we were having sex about 12 hours before aislinn was born, and things began to progress after that.

I saw in What to Expect When You're Expecting that some women can self-induce through nipple stimulation. However, it requires three hours a day every day for a week. I do not HAVE 21 hours to spend playing with my nipples. :-p

Sex...not really an option for various reasons, alas.

I'll have to go out and find some rough roads...
