I didn't do as much looking into it as I might have when I posted this. Turns out that the "reporter" who was complaining about Petraeus' "martial bling"? He's a freaking wine critic. (I don't read wine critiques, so I missed the connection.)

Yep. I'm going to take HIS snarky criticisms of a real man seriously.

I've seen a few rebuttals in the blogosphere, as one would expect, but this one cracked me up.
