The ACLU has been buying ad time on conservative talk stations here in Phoenix, urging listeners (in an ad that isn't exactly truthful) to call Congressman Harry Mitchell (who defeated J.D. Hayworth - a Congressman much respected and liked by the people listening to the ads) to continue his "principled stand" against re-enacting the FISA bill.

You know, the ACLU can spend its money wherever it wants and buy ads wherever it likes. And I'm perfectly fine with ClearChannel accepting their money and playing the ad. But one would think they'd realize that buying ad time on stations that cater to people who a) know a little bit about what they're advocating against and b) disagree 100% with what they'd advocating FOR is just throwing that money away. They might want to look a little more closely at the demographics of the stations they're buying time on...
