Christmas!
Well, anyway, the prep for it.
Since we're having the Thanksgiving festivities at our house this year, I'm putting up the Christmas decorations this weekend (actually, I often do it the weekend before Thanksgiving even when we're NOT hosting, just because I love it so much). As soon as Joe brings the tree and stuff in from the garage (except for the ornament box, which, after last year's debacle, he's no longer permitted to handle), I'll get started.
There's the tree to put up (which pretty much looks the same every year), the lighted garlands to put over the back windows and the front door, my new Lenox nativity set to display (I got it for 75% off last January when the Lenox store was going out of business) plus my old Waterford set to put out, my village (which consists of just three buildings, but they're from A Christmas Story, so they're cooler than most) to set up, and random other decorations.
I have the new Josh Groban Christmas CD to add to my Christmas rotation, and Christmas candles to light, and it'll just be fantastic.
