Random stuff
On the recommendation of my mother, who started it ten days ago and can't say enough good about it (not to mention Rush Limbaugh, who's lost something like 60 pounds since February), Joe and I ordered a month's worth of NutriSystem yesterday. At about $300 each, it isn't cheap, but heck - it's a month's worth of food, and we usually spend about that anyway.
I've been playing a lot of Stacked! poker on the XBOX. Re-reading Harry Potter in anticipation of book 7, also.
Sorry I haven't been around much - I'm just really not into the computer of late, and it's getting increasingly difficult to sneak time to post at work.
Other than that...boring, boring, boring.
Game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight. Go Cavs!
OH - here's something amusing. The other night, I was sitting in bed, reading, and listening to my MP3 player on headphones when a song came on that I'm particularly fond of, which is a lot of fun to sing ("Storybook" from The Scarlet Pimpernel cast album, if anyone cares). I was the only person in the house at the time, so I just belted it out. Something about that song at that moment just really got to Rex. He got all agitated and kept jumping on the bed, meowing insistently, biting me, and running away! He NEVER bites. Ever. I played the song again later to try to show Joe how he reacted, but he didn't care, then. I tried it again the next day, and he didn't do anything then, either.
He's a funny cat.
