Sierra Auction - Grand Avenue, just west of the 35th Avenue/Indian School intersection.
A day or two before the auction, they put the catalog on the website, and the day before is the viewing day (which I can't ever get to). That's when you really get to see what you're bidding on.
In order to bid, you have to give them a cash deposit, up front, of $200 (unless you're bidding on cars, in which case it's $500). If there's a difference, they'll return it to you, of course.
In addition to your bid, you have to pay a 13% buyer's premium (10% if you pay with cash), and sales tax. As a for instance (I didn't pay with cash), my $5 box of crap actually wound up costing a little over $6. Still a bargain, mind you.
But it's a great place for bargains, normally. Like the $15 microwave we got because we bought the double oven LAST time and gave up that microwave.
