The classroom scene with them suffering verbal abuse from the other kids is pretty exaggerated, but it's painfully true that some teachers will turn a blind eye to bullying going on in their classroom.

Brittany asking Santa to stop the Glee club getting bullied is so sweet. You don't really expect that level of thought and selflessness from such a ditzy character, which just makes it all the better :)

It's nice to see Finn being civil with Rachel following their break-up too.

"I'm cruel and all, but that's just hardcore." Aw Puck, you're a big softie underneath aren'tcha :D

"I don't understand the difference between an elf and a slave." That's actually surprising insight for a supposedly dumb character. I like it when the cuckoocloudlander can see something others would overlook because of their unique way of looking at the world.

"I want Puckerman to love me, he's a fox." Lol, Lauren. I'm not entirely sure what to make of her yet but that line was great.

"I want bling, I can't be any more specific than that." And yet, Lauren is immediately topped by Santana ^^

"Do you have anything for stretch marks?"
"Chapstick. Lots of chapstick."
"I want Channing Tatum to stop being in stuff."
"When does Asian Santa arrive?"
Screw it! This whole section was just golden!

"You've gotten really tan." "That's because at the North Pole there's a hole in the ozone layer." A funny line with green subtext, screw what the critics might say; I love this show!

I love that Brittany wants Artie to be able to walk. Contrast it to the things Finn was asking the Grilled Cheesus for and it just shows how good she is at heart.

"You don't know how many kittens I've given away because they weren't just right." Yeah, Rachel Berry would be the kind of kid who'd fail to understand the "A pet is for life, not just for Christmas" slogan.

Haha, her gift: "You get to listen to me sing." She's so self-centered it's just brilliant.

Yay, Finn! Seeing right through her BS attempt to win him back.

"Present ideas for Sue: 1) Robot dog. 2) A soul." L-O-L.

"I'm actually Marley's ghost." I have such a weakness for cute guys who make Lit references :3

Stop being cute and coupley, this song is about daterape!

"On the upside I'm in love with him and he's actually gay, call that progress." Hehe, ah Kurt.

I like that Will is inept at Christmas shopping, but making him go to the gay guy for help is a drastically unhelpful stereotype.

"Remember when I told you I was taking all those science textbooks to an exorcist." You have got to love that special Sue Sylvester brand of WTF-crazy.

"Six different people got Sue a shake-weight." Well it's a workout device that might also help her unleash some of that pent-up sexual frustration XP

Oh god, they want Beiste to be Santa? That's just epic.

Sue dressed up as the Grinch and then Brittany as Cindy-Lou Who just to make it even funnier =D

"A dollhouse, so their dolls won't be homeless." Aw, Brittany :3

So Finn totally gets that Christmas isn't about material things and Rachel doesn't... Well, she is a Jew.

She wore an air freshener? Haha, and you can totally see the WTF? look on Finn's face.

"It's so cold out." "It's unseasonably warm for this time of year actually." Haha, way to shut her down, Finn :D

"Nowhere to hang ornaments or put the presents under." ... or make Pagan sacrifices. What? Seriously, that's where the tradition of Christmas trees originates.

Am I the only one who thought it was a little inappropriate for Rachel to be singing the opening to the Wham! song? "Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away." You've got that backwards you cheating harlot!

Finn: This year to save me from tears, I'll give it to Mr. Schuester.
Rachel: Wait, what was that last part?
Finn: Um, nothing.

"Last year for Christmas, I asked Santa to give me you." Rachel, you're Jewish! Also, that's incredibly creepy.

Wait, so it's canon now that Finn had only ever dated Quinn before he got with Rachel? Did he never have a girlfriend freshman year? In middle school? What about a cutesy, innocent, kid kind of dating during elementary school? Huh, so suddenly the "Dating the leader of the celibacy club to hide his epic gay" is back on the table as a fic trope.

"This was my Uncle's; it was the first thing I ever stole actually." Ah Christmas, such a nostalgic season.

Lol, literal Gift of the Magi. Though I love that Will showed up to talk some sense into the club for the second time this episode.

Ugh, again. Why does Finn keep getting snarked at by the club unfairly? Because Rachel throwing herself at Finn is real Christmassy... Oh wait, "Baby, it's cold outside." Yeah, nevermind.

Having kids of your own really helps you to capture the Christmas joy again. Seeing their awe and delight helps you to remember and relive the feelings of your own childhood experiences. So seeing Will talk about the waning of Christmas cheer with adulthood, coupled with all the baby drama he's been through, just made me wibble for him a little bit.

Brittany with her dolls <3 Also, did anyone notice that she doesn't have a Barbie, she has what looks to be a Latina Bratz doll. An avatar for Santana perhaps?

Beiste's story about her childhood is so sweet.

"Was her name Rikki Lake?" Oh gosh Brittany. I was feeling so warm-hearted to Beiste and yet with one line you can have me roaring with laughter again, how I adore you :3

"Just get to the point, Finn." I've said it before, but I'll say it again anyway; I love when Will has to cut of Finn's rambling because it's so coupley =D
Also, Finn really does have a point about teachers faith in the goodness of humanity being worn down by tiresome students.

See, now this is showing the Glee club working together. Forget all that shit from last week about putting their problems aside to perform at Sectionals, this is them at their best. "Glee, by its very definition, is about opening yourself to joy."
And it even got to Sue :3

Why did Will reject Rachel's offer to spend Christmas at her house? Because Finn already made a better offer of course :P

"I thought it was a Transformer." =D

I really thought that they were gonna pull the "True meaning of Christmas" epiphany and have Sue buy the walker thing for Artie, but when it panned away to Beiste I realized how much more sense that made and felt a real love for her. It is official, she is on my approved characters list :D

And yet, my thoughts about the "True meaning of Christmas" epiphany were not unfounded. I think they played it just right though, Sue is still herself even if she's embracing the holiday.

Now, I'm slightly worried about her gift to Will. I'm scared that those rumors about Matt shaving off his curls are gonna be true and I Do Not Want!

I like that when the Glee club reveal themselves Finn is just hanging about at the back eating popcorn, like "Yeah, I hang out here all the time. No biggie."
