So wolves have always intrigued me, and the thought of Will and Finn as werewolves aroused me. It's definitely not as serious as some of the other entries, but I promise there will be some hot were lovin' (in human form of course). I'm teetering on the rating, it's a soft R right now, but I'm sure it will get harder (lol). So here's a peak at my slightly cracky fic that hasn't been beta'd yet and has no basis whatsoever on Hybrid, because I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. And let me know what you think.
The moonlight filtered through the trees, shimmering on the coats of five wolves sitting in a small clearing. The chilly night breeze tousled Finn’s fur and he drew his tail a little closer to his warm body.
As the alpha, he was sitting at a point. He was huge, at least six feet long with massive paws and inky black fur with a peppering of gray along his back. His brown eyes danced as he surveyed his pack.
To his immediate right was his beta, a tawny muscular wolf with a streak of dark brown fur that came down between his eyes. His gaze was fixed on the wolf directly across from him.
The ginger wolf was cowering nervously under the gaze of the beta. He was the newest member and had yet to prove himself to the alpha or the beta who held him still with his stare.
The two remaining wolves, a stocky brown and sinewy dark gray were bickering and nipping at each other.
Finn growled impatiently at them.
“Mike, Matt cut it out! I want to hear what Jacob has to say.”
The two wolves immediately sat at attention with Finn’s command.
The alpha nodded at Jacob, silently prodding him to begin his story.
“Y-yes, your highness, your greatness...”
The beta rolled his eyes.
“C'mon, Finn's not that great. I mean he's only our alpha. No biggie, just talk to him normally because I swear that if you start getting on my nerves, I'll make sure you stay an omega.” He stepped toward the smaller wolf and snapped, causing Jacob to lower his ears and droop his tail.
“Puck, seriously, shut up. You don't even have that power.”
“Okay Mr. Alpha, sir,” Puck pretended to cringe under Finn's hard stare. “But how do you know I can't do that? We haven’t been able to transform for that long.”
“Because I have that power.”

It seemed like in the recent weeks, Finn had aged greatly.
He was the first to go through the transformation. He had felt weird for several days before the full moon. He felt feverish and achy, and couldn’t concentrate on anything. He felt like his body was fighting against his brain, like his muscles and bones had a mind of their own. He was agitated and nervous all the time; he was moody and withdrawn from everything. His mom brought him a sandwich and soup and he threw it across the room, demanding meat instead.
He slept all day, dreaming of earthy colors, blurred shapes and the wind raking through his hair. Nothing would wake him. His mom tried in vain, before watching his feet twitch, and leaving a pile of pork chops out for him.
When he woke, he was ravenous. He tore apart the pork and sucked the marrow from the bones, then crunched on the bones themselves.
He had an aching erection. He tried unsuccessfully to take care of it himself, and before he knew it, he was on his way to Santana’s. But even fucking her in every way imaginable didn’t help.
“Wow, maybe I shouldn’t be calling you Finnocence anymore,” she purred into his ear.
He pushed her away, grabbed his clothes and left without another word.
He just wanted to run.
So he did.
The cool air felt good. His body was burning up; he hadn’t even bothered putting his shirt back on. As he passed the school, he felt a searing pain through his body. He stopped short and an electric shock went through him followed by the sound of his bones creaking, rearranging themselves. Finn fell to his knees, bellowing into the dusky evening. He crawled off the sidewalk into the wooded area that shaded the school.
Every movement was a struggle. His fingers and toes all felt like someone was forcing them backward, there was a piercing pain at the base of his spine, and every single one of his hairs stood on end.
He crouched under a tree, waiting, hoping, praying that this wouldn’t last any longer. He curled his body and forced his eyes closed, trying his best to shut out the pain.
At last it was over.
Finn’s head felt heavy as he tried to lift himself off the ground. He inhaled the cool air and to his surprise got hints of sweat and sex from his clothes, not to mention cedar and birch, and blood.
“Whoa, am I bleeding?”
Finn tried to lift his hands to his face to get a better look, but his arms wouldn’t bend that way.
“What the fuck? This is some kind of movie shit or something. I’m gonna close my eyes and open them and be in my bed, in my room.”
He blinked several times, then looked down at his hands, which weren’t hands anymore but...
“PAWS?! “
It took him a few tries before he was able to stand on all fours without falling.
“Well, I guess this isn’t so bad.”
He looked back, scanning his new body.
“Whoa! I have a tail! I have a tail!”
He wagged it back and forth, swinging his hips in the process. He smiled to himself and his tongue rolled out of his mouth, hanging on his new sharp teeth.
“Let’s see what all the fuss about tail-chasing is...”
Finn turned his body to the right, snapping at his new appendage.
“Almost got it, almost.”
He turned around a few times, then tried tricking himself and going left. He tripped over his front paws and tumbled to the ground, panting furiously.
“Eh, I’ll get it eventually.”
His new body took a while to get used to. At first he kept tripping over his paws, trying to maintain his speed and balance as he ran.
But it got better. By the second night he was chasing and capturing small game like rabbits. That's when Puck joined him. Finn had just taken down his first deer and was enjoying the hot blood running down his throat, when he smelled another wolf approaching.
Instinct took over. Finn got into a defensive stance, crouched over his prey, teeth bared.
As Puck came closer, Finn lifted his nose and could smell him, not just another wolf, but his best friend.
"Dude, did you just kill that?"
"Dude, how are you inside my head?" Blood was running down Finn's snout as he approached Puck tentatively.
Puck strutted up to him and sniffed the blood.
"That smells amazing!" He licked some of the blood from Finn's nose.
"Puck!" Finn jumped back and shook himself off. "We're still dudes, isn't that kinda gay? Licking is like kissing, right?"
"Whatever, we're animals now too,” Puck glanced back at the dying deer, “they do that shit all the time, even the guy ones. Haven't you ever watched Animal Planet?"
"Well yeah, but I never really paid attention, I guess." Finn lifted his nose into the breeze. "This is so awesome, I can smell everything. Have you tried it?"
"Yeah, that's how I found you," Puck sniffed Finn's nose and gave it another lick. "Have you tried changing back yet?"
"Nah, I was having way too much fun out here.You want some of this? It's pretty fresh, blood's still hot."
"Sure man," Puck tugged on a hind leg, "thanks."
After that Matt and Mike joined them. The four of them were inseprable. In no time at all their pack strategy was perfected and they could shift back and forth with little pain. As they were hunting one night, Jacob, who made a straggly nervous wolf, sought them out.
~~~
"So there's more of us," Jacob’s tail twitched excitedly. "I saw another small pack to the east of us. The alpha was golden brown with longer fur that curled. And there was a spotted grey, a pure white, and muddy brown one with a mangled back leg. I smelled them before I saw them, but I don't think they saw me."
Puck, who stopped his growling and glaring, looked to Finn in amazement. "There's really more of us? Should we go find them?"
Finn was silent for a moment. Being the alpha of a pack, even one as tiny as this was getting to Finn's head. He felt the rush of authority everytime a pack member obeyed one of his commands. He could pretty much make them do what he wanted. With an even bigger pack, they could cover more territory. And better yet, if that pack didn’t succumb to him, then he would force them. Sure, it was great killing deer, but that wasn’t much of a challenge anymore. Finn wanted a good fight; seeking out the other pack was win-win for him.
“Let’s take them down!”
Finn began howling a definitive war cry, and the others joined in, harmonizing.
“Wait, wait!” Jacob stood up and began pacing back and forth. “I recognized the alpha’s scent. It’s Will Schuester.”
