WET SHIRTLESS MR. SCHUE!!
Yes. A thousand times yes. I would totally beat up Kurt and steal his phone for that picture.
And then him all slutty cheerleader-ed up topless, wearing his boyfriend's jacket, and carrying his shoes. All he needed was the chalk from the fifty yard line on the back of his pants to complete the look.
Ahem.
Moving on.
I adored this.
I love how simultaneously innocent it was with Finn's uncertainty and his crushing and being so confused and tentative and teenage boy (or teenage boy-mom and good lord that whole bit was awesome), but then it's also very grown up in that he's able to acknowledge to himself that he feels this, that he wants Will (and I love that it's without any real 'he's a dude' freakout. It's Finn responding instinctively to how Will makes him feel, that spark of attraction, gender be damned.)
And speaking of spark: Oh, the fireworks. Will resting his head against Finn's leg and Finn stroking his hair (again, so innocent and so...not.)
Them just looking at each other and knowing that something has shifted.
Gah.
I always hate the scary 'then what' feeling in the beginning of a relationship (as I am a total control freak which totally explains being a writer so that I can make the nice fictional people do exactly what I tell them to.) But you're making it sooooo good.
Oh, and Finn's burn on Puck=comic gold. I love that he just seemed so unaware of it in his mad quest to chase down Mr. Schue.

That's exactly how I wanted Finn to come across - young and confused, but at the same time a little mature and focused. I think there's always those moments during attraction where people are thinking "is this flirting? is this normal? Okay, now I am flirting, but did they noticed? Did I want them to notice? Do I want this to change? Gah, I have to go sit in a corner somewhere and have low self-esteem for a while...", which I feel is a lot more fun to watch from the outside than experience from the inside.
Thank you for such a lovely comment :)
