I decided to read this while eating breakfast, which wasn't a great idea because I kept grinning and snickering and once I nearly choked as a result. But it was a learning experience.

I loved this fic so much - I loved Finn over-thinking everything, I loved him fantasizing about Mr Schue (and that Will was Mr Schue for the entire fic except for that one, hot, backseat moment). I loved that you indulged my kink for Will in torn jeans (unf), and the accidental earlobe kissing in the dark, and Mr Schue essentially milking Finn for gossip about his kids. I also loved Mr Schue panicking when he found out Finn saw LA Confidential - I've had those moments with teachers too.

I also like how twisted up Finn is about his crush on Mr Schue. He's okay with the whole 'he's a dude' element, and he's okay with the 'he's my teacher' part, but he's getting all caught up and feeling guilty about wanting something more when he already knows that he has so much. I think that's a really great place to have Finn in, because as a reader I can see that their relationship is getting more involved and that they're growing to be friends with each other rather than just this professional school relationship, but from Finn's perspective his end-point is something that he is aware he's not going to have. Gah.
