Been procrastinating all week trying to get my thoughts straight about this episode, but screw it; here's the Cliff Note's Edition:
Holly Holliday is a blatant Mary-Sue and only being used as a character device to get the Will/Emma rehashathon under way. She was crowbarred into every available song and seeing her sing Landslide made me want to reach through the screen and throttle her because her presence was detracting from the Brittana.
Kurt wanting to learn about sex in the previous episode and being afraid of it here, quickest continuity fuck-up I think I've ever seen.
Burt's advice to Kurt was touching, but the preface that women take emotions into account when it comes to sex where as guys just want to get laid offended me. It is such an archaic concept and incredibly wrong, it was even contradicted within the episode itself because Santana had the line: "Sex is better when feelings aren't involved, it's better without eye contact."
Emma running the celibacy club could've been an interesting idea but they lumbered her with the Idiot Ball yet again. It would've been nice to see a character show the middle ground in the argument rather than "Celibacy is the only way" and "Celibacy doesn't work", why couldn't we have "Celibacy is an okay choice for some teenagers, but others are going to choose to have sex and so we should prepare them so that they'll be safe and responsible when they do."?
The Brittana subplot was the strongest point of the episode to me, was pretty much my head-canon of Santana brought to life on screen and was superbly acted: Major props to Naya for her performance in the scene where Santana confesses her love to Brittany, she was so vulnerable but spiky at the same time, very true to life.
Lastly, I agree with everyone that it's fun to see the shots of Will and Finn during the love song. Seems to happen a lot actually :D
