hockey & strappy blue shoes
Hi'dy Ho! How goes it?
I am currently procrastinating. I am supposed to read part of 'The Crucible' for English and take blucky notes and/or be doing Econ homework. But, since livejournal is looking pretty good right now, I will rattle away on my keyboard instead of doing something practical.
This week so far has been pretty busy.
On Sunday, right after I finished updating, Anthony called me. He wanted to know if I wanted to go to Roy's hockey game with him within the hour. I was typing my English paper at the time; so, I told my brother I'd pay him a dollar to do it for me. Haha. (He actually did it; plus, I think he forgot about the dollar.) Roy and Anthony came around 8:30 to pick me up. Everything was extremely hectic and the car ride made me laugh when I wasn't holding on for my life. The game was extremely one-sided. The team Roy was playing for was pretty awful, sadly. I got to talk to Anthony for the first two periods; then Kevin Swahn (who came with Krissy and Kimmie) finally decided to come sit by us. Everyone was kind of on edge as to what Roy's reaction would be to the final score; luckily he came out of the locker room smiling. We didn't die on the car ride home, as we had anticipated that we might. It was very spontaneous and awesome.
Yesterday was Monday. I don't remember much of school, to tell you the truth. I think I kind of had my head in the clouds because I had gotten so little sleep the night before. We had practice, which was super awesome because we got to play all of the music for Friday's parade. Ah! I am so very excited. My mom basically finished sewing my dress during the afternoon, and I cannot wait to wear it. I think, above anything else, it's why I'm so psyched about Saturday.
Today was a pretty good day. I wasn't feeling very awesome though. :( I woke up dizzy and feeling like somebody beat me in the stomach with a baseball bat. I was planning on going home early, but decided last second to tough it out. After school my mom brought me shoe shopping. I found shoes the exact colors I was looking for. They are strappy and blue.. there's even silver on the insides. I am stoked! We went in four stores in search of a bag to no avail. Mmh. There's so many more things to do!
