For those of you new to my LJ/Dreamwidth, I've been a fanatic watcher of Husbands, a web series written and produced by none other than Jane Espenson and Brad Bell. It's a M/M romantic comedy where a very out actor and a just recently out athlete get drunk married right after marriage equality is passed nation-wide.
The writing is sharp, smart, and funny; there's laughs, schmoop, and some pretty hot PG-13 M/M action. For those of you who have watched Caprica, Alessandra Torresani does a brilliant job as Haley, the ditzy and perpetually drunk BFF.
Husbands has gotten rave reviews in the New Yorker, and attracted a number of prominent guest stars. (Nathan Fillion, Jon Cryer, Mekhi Phifer, Joss Whedon, Amy Acker and Michael Hogan.)
I highly recommend that everyone check it out - it won't take long to catch up, either. The first two seasons produced a total of a half hour of content, so it'll only take you about an hour to catch up.
