Fic Rec
Title: Of Wolf and Man (4 parts), How to Teach and Old Dog New Tricks (1 part), and To See the Human Soul Take Wing (27 parts)
Author: Maeglin Yedi
Rating: NC17
Pairing: Remus/Sirius, Harry/Moony, Harry/Sirius/Remus
Genre: Adventure/Romance

Summary (Wolf and Man): Remus is stuck as a wolf, Harry is stuck with a very unusual and persistent lover, and Sirius is stuck somewhere in the middle.

Summary (Old Dog): Harry misses his furry friend. Remus has a plan, but Sirius seems unusually hesitant.

Summary (Human Soul): Harry's final year at Hogwarts is filled with secrets, old enemies and new threats. Unable to share his current life with his friends, Harry has to put his faith in the unlikeliest of allies to find a way to defeat Voldemort while his love for Sirius and Remus is repeatedly put to the test.

What I am reccing here are three stories. The first one is mainly Harry/Moony... yes, that means bestiality (you have been warned.) The second one is pretty much a PWP in the middle. The last book (and yes, I mean book), To See the Human Soul Take Wing is listed in my Top Five Favorite Stories in HP Fandom. (I actually don't have such a list, but it sounds good.)

The story is plot heavy, with Harry still in his final year at Hogwarts with Voldemort still at large. But the story isn't just about the background plot, but it has so many inner workings, character plots and personal discoveries that I can't even list all of them. This story is written expertly, beautifully and the characters are so superbly written, than this Harry, Sirius and Remus have become my benchmark.

The downside of this story is that there is a bit too much sex. Yep, you heard me. I think they stop to shag way too much, but for those that like lots of the porn, then this shouldn't be a problem. If it's too much sex for you, like it was for me, you can skim it a bit.

The other 'best' thing about this story are the Original Characters. I've never read OCs that I have liked as much. I want to read more about these guys and their lives in the future, their adventures... but perhaps it is better to end the story where she did end it.

Take a weekend (or a week like it took me (need more fic reading time)) and read this story! It will lift your spirits, just like the title says.
