LJ for me has been pretty much just a dumping ground for the last few years as it is, but with the new policy changes, it's time to just cut the cord. The account will still be here, twitter will likely still post daily aggregation, but there will be no further conscious updates. No Good Morning Worlds or the rare other posts I put over here. At the same time, I'm removing the site from my bookmarks, which means odds are good I won't be seeing your posts.

I'm not worried about my content on here, most of it's mirrored elsewhere and what little isn't, well, if it gets lost, it gets lost. I'm not a fic writer with tons of stuff that only exists here. (And for those who ARE, I recommend backing up your stuff immediately and rehoming it on dreamwidth or Ao3. The new changes do NOT look fun.)
