Haven't really updated in a while, not too much has been going on, to be honest. Went home last Sunday, worked Monday and Tuesday, studied Wednesday and Thursday, road trip to Hamilton Friday. Friday night Steph and Sarah came up and hung out.
(Steph and I with Gwilly: it's tradition!)
My parents cooked up as amazing meal, we shared a couple of bottles of wine and then got ready to go out.
(the colours are a bit weird, but it looks cool!)

It was raining like a whore out there but we decided to stick it out and go to the bar anyway. The Village was fantastic (hahaha), like usual. It was a bit slow when we first got there but everything picked up and we ended up having an awesome time, for the most part. We were all ridiculously drunk, which made life good, but about the last 1/2 hour of the night turned out badly (well, for me anyway- thankfully the girls didn't mind heading home when we did!). We left around 230-245am, which worked out perfectly because they would have been closing up soon anyway and as much as I love witnessing drunken fights outside after it closes, food was calling me home (and my tired/blistered feet!). It was like a friggin highschool reunion in there though, frig. It was nice to see people I haven't seen in a while and catch up and hang out with Nick's friends. I had this 20 minute conversation with one of his friends Andy about circumcision, which was interesting. Oh well, he is a super nice guy and the last time we went out he bought me a bunch of shots, so it's all good. Sarah, Steph, Nick, and I stumbled home and made one and a half plates of nachos and then hit the sack.
Saturday woke up, ate some breakfast, said goodbye to Nick and then hung out with the girls for a bit until they left.

Then I got ready and went out to Nick's house for Easter. Aww he was fast asleep when I got there, so I quietly snuck into bed with him and we napped for a bit. I love how he didn't even wake up, he just felt for me and then pulled me in close ... what a sweet heart that man is. We sat down for dinner later on in the evening, had some wine and hung out with his family. Then we watched the hockey game and pretty much everyone passed out. Around 930 (after the game finished) I decided it was time to go home and so I got home, crawled into bed, and passed out.
Yesterday I went to church (blerg- haven't been since Christmas, and before that last Easter, what a great Catholic ... more like what a great waste of my time) and then went to my aunt's for Easter. Nick and I ate WAY too much food and then talked with my family. We headed home around 5, before my parents, and snuggled for a bit before they got home. Then he left, I did some homework and then watched TV.
Today I woke up, finished my paper, did some studying and then headed back to Peterborough. Hung out with the boys for a bit and then ate dinner and watched Prison Break. I just got home from the Stewart house and I am planning to jump into bed in T-minus 10 minutes.
Plans for this week:
-- tomorrow: run some errands, work out, go on a bike ride to enjoy what will hopefully be a beautiful day. Study for my two upcoming exams. Relax
-- wednesday: pretty much the same
-- thursday: write first exam. Relax. Study for next exam
--f riday: write second exam. Really relax, because I have seven days before my last exam and it is Children's Lit. Wait impatiently for Nick to come up. Host a BYOM (bring your own meat) BBQ.
And as for the rest of the time before next weekend, I am going to study (a bit), pack, and feel sorry for myself for the upcoming summer/moving home business. I can't friggin believe that at this time in two weeks I will be back in Bradford.
Expect a long, sappy update about that sometime soon. I have so much to say about it, but I don't really want to get upset at this time of night. Plus, 10 minutes are up and my bed is calling me.
