Well, this will be long LOL, and I'm not good at writing. Anyway ...

Before LJ, my only source was google. I searched for VS Arashi and it pointed me to a lot of sites, mostly provided me steaming with hard sub (which I have no idea where those from). And I came across a post about the program EP guide at kazunari@DW. So, I realized that most of the links in the EP guide are from LJ. I created my LJ account then.

From the EP guide post, I tried to join the communities that still open for joining. I didn't even understand what the word "application" was at the first time I read it. I was really lost because LJ itself and reading a lot of strict rules, regulations, and requirements I had to do for joining communities didn't help, plus English is not my first language. I was nervous, still be I have to admit, hehe.

From there, I've learnt to
- Read carefully, and read comments if I don't understand.
- Look into detail, I might find some info that help me find something else.
- Read comments, it's really helpful in a lot of ways, really really helpful. I can find a lot of information, hidden clues, re-uploaded links, and people.
- Search for the thing I want first, ask for it later.
- Tags are super duper awesome.
etc ...

As I mentioned above, comments are informative. I could see who interacted with the community posts often, I went to their LJ and again started reading. I found arashi_no and a_ra_shi later because of it. I also checked which communities they joined in and also their friend feed (I know it's a bit creepy).

For other things, like tools, I have no problem about it. Beside LJ, like Weibo, Baidu, Clubbox, I've not gone through them yet. I think it's enough for me to be in LJ I guess. Otherwise I'll be more crazy about these 5 awesome guys XD. And lately I start to watch raw files just because I want to see them even I don't understand a single things what they talk about.

That's all about my little journey in the fandom I guess :)

For the guide, I like your 'Pimp posts', 'How to search efficiently', and 'Find your audios and raws', sections and Junsus in the flowchart XD. And I love Hope in the Darkness performance as well, it made me stunning and speechless. It's Arashi top performance for me so far :).

Ahahah thank you for your complete answer ^^ It's really interesting to know how everyone got around.
This fandom is so difficult and secretive, you have no other choice but to read into details to find where the stuff are (main reason I did this guide, it's sooooo difficult for new fans)

Thank you for Junsus, he is happy XD
