I don't even know where to begin...
I played soccer for the first time on Wednesday night since I hurt my ankle in January. It was the most amazing feeling EVER! I was on this happy high for about a day and a half. It was great.
Candice's birthday celebration went off without a hitch! We kidnapped her and gave her birthday goodies all night long. Then we danced it up and played cornhole at the Gin Mill with the boys. Happy 21st to Candice! Now she can play with the big kids. :)
I hate it when people leave...I know it's only for a couple weeks, but just when things are getting good...
I love my friends; even the ones who tease me mercilessly about my life choices. :)
So, yeah, I guess that's about it. Not much of an update, but I'm feeling pretty mellow (maybe even a little melancholy) and wanted to get some of that out. :)
Random event:
While showing a very nice, upstanding woman in a business suit to the administrative building on Thursday, she turns to me, places her hand on my shoulder and says, "I've really enjoyed this conversation. Would you like to continue it over dinner tonight? Say around 8?"
My response: "I'm sorry, I have dinner plans. I'm seeing someone. Oh, yeah, and I'm straight."
