I love my friends soooo much!
So, this weekend was considerably one of the best weekends I've had in awhile.
Friday night I went to the game with Phil. Jon played with us and we ended up winning our fourth straight game in a row! Talk about kick ass. The Daisy Cutters have their longest winning streak ever. (Thanks again to Bane, Jon, Jonesy, and Craig for helping us achieve this winning streak!) So that was awesome.
Saturday I got to the apartment around 3:30ish and Candice was already there. We started to get things set up for the party. Kelsey and Britt got there about an hour or so later. My Dad dropped by and finally saw the apartment all set up and with the X-mas decorations; he was really impressed. He could see how Kels and I spent almost $100 at the dollar store. So anyway, then us girls went out to dinner at TGIF's and all shared meals. It was so good. And they told the ppl there that it was my birthday so I got four balloons! They were fun to play with; I hit both Britt and Kels with them. I got Kelsey good, too; she was staring right at me and was totally unprepared for it! Bwahahahaha. I also got free desert which we all enjoyed.
Then after dinner we came back to the apartment and did our gift exchange. Kelsey got me an awesome jewelry box, loaded with jewelry, photo frames, and the Flogging Molly CD. Brittany really liked her jewelry that I got her and her sexy underwears, so I was happy about that. Then, Candice gave me a set of earrings, necklace, and bracelet for my birthday along with a shirt that she got on her cruise. It was really awesome. They also got me a nice card. So I figured that that was it, right? Then we would have our Christmas party.
So people started showing up between 9:30 and 10 and we began playing beer pong. We had brackets and everything! Unfortunately, Jon won both brackets (he had a different partner every time and he still won! Grrr.) The party list was: us four girls, Franny, Brett, Jonesy, Mark, Bryan, Jon, Tim, and Bane. Well, after a little while I went to the bathroom and it got really quiet in the living room. I kept hearing, "Where's Jackie?", so finally I was like, "Hold on, gimme a second, sheesh." Well when I walked out, there was everybody there and they started to sing happy birthday to me! There was balloons, and gifts, and cupcakes, and all my favorite people (minus Kevin, Schweter, Johnny, and Ericka of course) there for a surprise b-day celebration. I think I almost cried I was so surprised! It was the best birthday surprise EVER.
So, I just want to say that my friends are totally awesome. They rock more than anyone I've ever known or ever will know. I love all you guys so much and I hope someday I can make all of you feel exactly the way I felt when I walked out of that bathroom; completely and utterly HAPPY. Thanks again!!
