But I really think that the shrink who cleared Ezra for field duty should find another job...

as for the shrink... ezra is very good at hiding things, so he probably pulled the wool over the shrink's eyes pretty well.
plus, it can take a while for things like this to develop. so he may have been more fine when he was with the shrink, and started to deteriorate as time goes by. he also has a hard time asking for help, so he would let it go for longer than normal people would, i think.
but another job for that shrink wouldn't be out of the question... :)

can you imagine what would happen if any of the guys ran into this shrink (as i imagine they would, if he/she was a department shrink)?

He had no idea where he was going. He just knew he wasn’t staying here.
Oh that can't be good. What have you got the poor overwrought boy doing?
I'm glad the guys aren't all "durrr" about Ezra acting weird; they're not brushing it off (this happens a lot in fanfic for some reason!). The guys all feel like a cohesive unit when you write them; it's one of my favorite things about your stories.
Hopefully they chase him down before he gets mugged or nabbed by some bad guys or something without his ID on him.

and yes, i know what you mean about the rest of the guys seeming to brush off one of the others acting weird. sometimes you can think "they're just giving him space", but other times it's flat out like HUH?

OMG thank you! i try to make them as much of a unit (hehehe i said unit) as possible, while not losing who they are in the process.
and yes, let's hope Ezra doesn't get into too much mischief...
