just pissa...
i had a chat with ken last night at work. he had just come out of dumdum's office with the braintrust. i went in his office to ask him about something, and we started talking. he told me about the re-org. he had just found out.
i don't work for ken anymore, as of september 15. i work for asshat. dino will continue to work for ken, and dino and i will be doing basically all the stuff that we are currently doing.
bingo is going back to be a production supervisor, working for asshat. beef is going back to the manufacturing floor, with bingo as his supervisor.
so ken tells me all this, and i think "wow, i get to keep dino," which for me is the biggest thing. now, granted, I don't get dino, per se, but he isn't going back to the production floor. and he and i will stay M-F, while beef and bingo will be on rotating shifts.
so today, dumdum decides to roll this out. she doesn't send out an appointment or anything, just word of mouth to come to this meeting room and go over something. a lot of people came, cuz they knew what it was. i was supposed to leave early to go to the dentist, and i had to call and cancel, cuz really... i needed to be there. dentist wasn't terribly happy, but i told them i thought the emergency meeting that had been called was about layoffs, so they were more understanding.
anyway...
so they throw these slides up on the screen, and they show the new org charts. and it just made it so final... seeing my name drawn up to asshat's.
it made me extremely grumpy, even though i knew it was coming.
and he's already starting to try to be my best friend.
and micromanage me.
fucker.
and now i am gonna have to absorb a lot of beef and bingo's work so they can do production.
i guess my new role in this re-org is "everyone's bitch"
