Change of plans
We didn't go to SJ for the wedding. My mom threw her back out on Thursday. =( She's doing slightly better now, though. So I missed out on wedding cake again. Alas. :P
Instead I've been enjoying a four-day weekend. I normally have Friday and Saturday off, and I had asked for Sunday off for the wedding trip and Monday's a library holiday. So I've been curling up with some books. Which makes me happy. ^_^
In other news, it's been windy and dry since Tuesday. Which means my allergies kick in pretty much as soon as I step outside. So I've been hiding out inside most of the time, except for my daily walks. Wednesday was the worst, which was sad since I had a playdate with Jennie and I was a sniffly, sneezy, watery-eyed wreck for the afternoon. =/ Murr. I hope the wind stops soon.
