There's a fun viral marketing campaign going on that asks about favorite places you've been and such. It's for something called Wander, but no one actually knows what it is/will be once it's unveiled. So for now, it's just fun to participate in their "wander weeks" and see all the love for so many different places.
I'm so looking forward to returning to Oxford this summer (love your icon) and we've planned some side trips to Cambridge and the Brecon Beacons in Wales. Someday before we're too old we'd like to do a bike tour through the Loire Valley, and ever since I watched a particular episode of Rick Steves I've been longing to see Slovenia!
My two big trips that I am really looking forward to although I am still working out details are Germany (again!) this fall and Paris (finally!) next summer.
My bff is doing a research year in Germany for her PhD and we have done Thanksgiving together for the past few years, so rather than be sad and alone I am going to visit her and have more awesome German adventures. This will be my third time in Germany, which makes it my most-oft-visited country!
I have always longed to be in Paris for my birthday someday and a few years ago I decided to make it for my 30th which is next year! My parents are coming along and a couple of friends and I am very excited! I've only ever had a layover at the Paris airport (on my way to Germany of course), so I am quite looking forward to seeing the city. :)
My wanderlust is currently laser-focused on Spain. Adore the architecture, the general culture, and I can make my way around with the language! (just a vastly different accent) I have at least one relative out there, too, so family trips are a good excuse.
Happily, it's also where my boyfriend wants to go, so, hopefully someday!
