today = awesome
I saw an adorable little bunny whilst waiting for the bus this morning. It hopped around and nibbled some clover and made wiggly ears at the traffic noises. :)
Then I got all kinds of compliments at work today. I am somewhat of a superstar for my latest [video tutorial], so I got comments on the general spiffyness of the video and also on my lovely reading voice. ^^;
And then when I got home, I had two packages from California!home, containing 1) some of the books and dvds from the huge amounts I left behind when I moved away and which I was disinclined to send for until I found a new place that actually felt like home and 2) prettily-wrapped presents to be admired for a week. :)
Downside: It is approximately eleventy billion degrees outside. Okay, actually, it is 100 degrees F (~38 C), but I have no air conditioning in my flat and I am from Southern California, where it is rarely above the low 80s. *wilts dramatically*
