(no subject)
I wrote a fic for picfor1000, which possibly only one person in the world will read because 1) it is for a non-existent fandom and 2) it has original characters. But I could not get the mice out of my head and so now there is Tale of Despereaux fic: at [ livejournal] or the [AO3]. I like it, but I don't think it's my best work. I think it really wanted to be longer, so I may rework it someday. I definitely didn't get to play with the narrative voice as much as I wanted to. 1,000 words is hard!
In other news, I am way too good at overthinking things (as I'm sure you've noticed) and then getting myself in a tizzy over things normal people don't even think about. Oh, self. *sigh*
Today at work, I clicked eleventy billion ticky boxes. Well, okay, not eleventy billion. But between today and tomorrow, I will have clicked approximately 1800 ticky boxes. Unfortunately, they lose their inane appeal after about ten ticky clicks. :/
