30 hours of snow and 10.5 hours without power! The snow stopped around 5pm yesterday afternoon, but the power didn't come back on until around 11:30pm.
No power, besides no light, also means no internet and, more importantly, no heat. I was also quite popular, as four people called me in a row (local grandparents, mum, dad, and bff), but since I was without power and therefore incapable of recharging my phone, I could not talk to anyone for very long. So I spent the daylight hours reading and spying on the crazy people who ventured outside, ate a sandwich for dinner in the twilight, and then huddled under the covers with my iPod (which I had thankfully just charged recently) since it was rather too dark and too cold for anything else.
Before the power went out, though, I went for a quick snow frolic to take some photos.
