My Fanlore paper got accepted to a conference!!!!

I will be talking it up on an Internet Culture panel at the Mid-Atlantic Popular/American Culture Association Conference in Boston the first weekend of November!!

I am so excited and so terrified!!!

That is freaking awesome and amazing I am doing a happy dance in your honor. Your ROCK!! I'm sure you'll do spectacularly well and I'm also very excited for you, you'll have to tell us how it goes, does this mean that there might be a way for us read said paper if you are presenting it, will there be any online documentation/copies? I know sometimes Conferences have PDFs or archive the work presented?

I won't be publishing it through the conference, but I'll be submitting it to the OTW journal afterward. And I will, of course, let everyone know if/when/where it's published.

My two main sources of terror are 1) the possibility that one of the people I'm citing will be in the audience, and 2) the fact that I have no idea how big the conference is and therefore how big my audience will be. The actual presentation is only 15 minutes, so that's not too bad in itself.
