(no subject)
I am still coughing rather dramatically and now I seem to have PINK EYE because apparently my immune system GAVE UP and RESIGNED without notice.
I have already missed a week of work due to the cold from hell, and I'm sure by now they are thinking WTF, she's totally off gallivanting in the lovely weather, no one could possibly have such a sucky immune system.
Doctor later today. Since it is not actually that bad as yet, I have the extremely vague hope that perhaps I won't need to be quarantined for a week or two and could therefore still go on my weekend trip. Yeah, it's not much of a hope.
.eta: The doctor said I don't have to quarantine myself - yay? So I can go to work tomorrow (monies!) and go off on my long weekend, where I will just look like crap but hopefully not contaminate anyone else.
