podfic squee <3
Alas, now my stupid cough has started up (generally late to the party and always the last to leave) and so there is still no podfic from me for the next while. But there are other awesome things afoot in the world of podfic!
First, I am now officially an archivist at [audiofic], I can create entries and everything! :)
Second, there is now podfic in languages besides English!! We at audiofic are very excited about this!! We are now immensely pleased to offer podfics in [Deutsch, español, and suomi] in addition to English. There are even Spanish and German podfic communities: audio_slash and hoerbuecher. I myself am the liaison for the Spanish comm.
audiofic is multilingual! Awesomeness, right? Multiple languages ftw! ♥
And I am horribly behind in listening to things, but here's two podfics I've really enjoyed from amplificathon so far:

This one is fanfic for the epic of Gilgamesh, of which you need know nothing as there are preliminary notes to tell you all you need to know. The story is beautifully written and read.
// Rough Diamond by lyrstzha, read by luzula (.mp3, 42:54 mins.)
This is a gorgeous retelling of Beauty & the Beast. I like what the author's done with Belle's character, and I love the storytelling quality of the narrative, which luzula does a beautiful job with - you can hear the oral traditions behind this tale and you can feel those fireside nights of long ago. ♥
