In other news, the two presentations in children's lit tonight were on my two favourite topics ever: censorship (she was focusing on censorship of books with "obscene language") and GLBT books. Unfortunately, the guy doing the GLBT presentation actually managed to make it incredibly boring. On the plus side, he brought up Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (♥) and showed a clip from BSSM Stars (*cough*bootleg*cough*). But it didn't really relate to anything and everyone else in the class was making snide remarks. I will admit to not liking the anime too much, I vastly prefer the manga for both story and art quality, but I could tell from the tone of people's remarks that these were people who just Don't Get anime/manga (and pronounce it main-ga *cringe*).
*runs back to paper-writing*
