Dude, I love this sort of footage of how awesome our world is. Planet Earth fills me with all kinds of wonder. But I have a weird particular affinity for the frozen parts of our world, so footage of the Arctic and Antarctic is extra awesome to me. And, oh, beautiful and elusive narwhals!

And you know how everything in my life relates to books? Yeah, I totally read a narwhal book when I was a wee Lauralein. Why the Whales Came by Michael Morpurgo. Now I want to read it again, but I don't think I have it anymore and my libraries don't seem to have it either. Out-of-print books make me sad.
