c'est la vie...
this morning it was snowing/sleeting when i had to go to work. okay, so it's only like a 5 minute walk, but sleet is just not cool. then it tapered off to just rain. and it's still raining. which means it's gray and gloomy. which kind of matches my mood. meh. i hope the rain lets up a bit before i have to go back out to work again tonight. not for an extra shift. there's an optional training session on Macs. i'll get paid for it, so i figure i should go learn a bit more about Macs since i'm only vaguely comfortable troubleshooting them. not that we have to troubleshoot them often, since they're so 1337...
um... i don't know how to write my thesis. >.< so i guess i'll just write something and then my advisor can tell me how to fix it. 'cause that's what she's supposed to do, right? and then at some point (after having written said "something") i should probably try to get together with my second advisor. the one who didn't want to meet with me before 'cause he doesn't really want to be an advisor and just wants to be a proofreader.
i also have to write some crap for the evil philosophy class. we have to keep a "journal" for all the readings we do. but each entry only has to be about 100-150 words, so it's not too painful...
i checked my mail three times today and didn't get any of the Valentines my family sent me. stupid mail. ;__; you know what the coolest thing about Valentine's Day is? the "sorry you're a loser and don't have a date on Valentine's Day" dinner they have in the dining halls! it involves lots of chocolate. AND frost-your-own-cupcakes! yay! i <3 cupcakes.
