I talk to the rain
I love rain.
I just got absolutely soaked on my way back to the house from the bus stop. I love getting soaked whilst walking in the rain. It's so refreshing. (Of course, getting soaked is only happy if you're on your way home and not in nice clothes. Otherwise, it's rather uncomfortable.)
Of course it's lovely to walk in the rain on a nice nature path or somewhere off the beaten track, but for maximum fun, I like to walk along the road. Because getting soaked in a rainstorm inevitably makes me smile with giddy pleasure, and it's so much fun to wonder what the people in their nice dry cars must think of me. Of course it's also great to belt out "Singin' in the Rain", although I did not do that this time (it's more fun when with a friend). :D

So, yes, still alive here. I've attended two sessions of both of my classes now. I like one (Information Access aka Reference Services) much better than the other (Information Use/Behaviour), but the one I don't like as much is at least not absolutely horrible, so that's something.
I have insane amounts of reading and still no job, and that's about all the excitement from me.
Oh, and I baked scones on Sunday and they are tasty. So I think that means I should go have one with a nice cup of tea, because that is what rainy days are all about. :)
